Police are appealing for information about a robbery which occurred in Abington Street, Northampton at around 3.45pm yesterday (Wednesday December 30th).
A 12-year-old boy was standing in Abington Street with two bicycles when he was approached by two offenders, one of whom punched and kicked him.
Both offenders then round off on the mountain bikes towards the Market Square - one of the bikes had a green-and-white frame, the other had a purple frame.
The first offender is described as white, aged 16-17, 5ft 10ins tall and of chubby build. He was wearing a light grey hooded top and dark blue Adidas track suit bottoms.
The second offender is white, aged around 18, more than 6ft tall and of slim build. He was wearing a black Nike hooded top and black jeans.
