Police say they're not treating the death of a man, found dead in the river Nene, as suspicious.

Emergency services were called to Midsumer Meadow, close to the Barnes Meadow interchange, at around 11am after reports of a body floating in the water.

The body was recovered by divers from Nottinghamshire shortly after 6.30pm.
Police arrested two Latvian men, who appeared to be with the man at the time he went into the water, on suspicion of murder, but they have now been released without charge.

A preliminary visual examination of the body, believed to be a Latvian man in his thirties, suggests he drowned with no third party involvement.
A post-mortem will be carried out later.
