Northampton Town have lined up a match at Wembley, as they aim for promotion back into League One.

The Cobblers are just a win away from that goal, after beating Cheltenham Town 2-0 on aggregate in their League Two Play Off Semi-Final.

The club will now play Bradford City at Wembley in the League Two Play-Off Final on Saturday 18 May 2013.

Fans invaded the pitch at Cheltenham after a goal from Luke Guttridge saw Northampton beat Cheltenham 1-0 in the second leg of the semi final on Sunday 5 May 2013. The Cobblers had also beaten the West Country side 1-0 in the first leg.

Northampton were last in League One, the third tier of English football, in the 2008/09 season.  They previously were promoted to the third tier by winning the old Division Three Play Off Final at Wembley in 1997.

Northampton Town have been allocated approximately 40,000 tickets for the Play Off Final against Bradford City, which will take place at 1.30pm on Saturday 18 May.

Tickets went on sale by telephone at 9.30am on Tuesday 7 May.
