Diamond Jubilee Tour

It's been announced the Queen will visit Corby, Stevenage and Hatfield on her Diamond Jubilee tour of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will start the tour in Leicester on 8 March 2012.  They are due to visit Corby, Stevenage and Hatfield as part of the East Midlands leg of the tour, over the 13 and 14 June.

The Diamond Jubilee tours celebrating the 60 years of the Queen's reign will take the royal couple from the Isle of Wight to Birmingham and from Merthyr Tydfil to Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The Queen and the Duke will travel around the country by a range of means - car, royal train, aircraft and the ship Leander.

March 8 Leicester.

March 29 North London, Redbridge, Walthamstow, Harrow.

April 26-27 Wales, Cardiff, Margam, Merthyr Tydfil, Aberfan, Ebbw Vale, Glanusk Park.

May 1-2 South West England, Sherborne, Salisbury, Crewkerne, Yeovil, Exeter.

May 15 South London, Bromley, Merton, Richmond.

May 16-17 North West England, Burnley, Accrington, Warrington, Chester, Liverpool.

June 13-14 East Midlands, Nottingham, Burghley, Corby, Stevenage, Hatfield.

June 25 South East England, Henley-on-Thames.

July 2-6 Scotland (Holyrood Week), Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dunbartonshire, Renfrewshire, Perth.

July 11-12 West Midlands, Hereford, Worcester, Birmingham, Shropshire.

July 18-19 North East England, Sunderland, South Tyneside, North Tyneside, Gateshead, Durham City, Stockton-on-Tees, Leeds.

July 25 South East England, Cowes, Isle of Wight, New Forest, Hampshire.
