Part of a busy road remains closed this morning (Sunday February 6th) as more than 50 fire-fighters tackle a blaze at a recycling centre.
The fire broke out in the just after 3am on Saturday (February 5th) at Huntingdon Recycling Centre in Thrapston Road in Ellington.
As a result, one lane of the A14 has been closed westbound between Brampton in Cambridgeshire and Thrapston, Northamptonshire.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire Service has been telling Heart that nine fire crews are still at the scene, along with four water carriers and a number of specialist vehicles.
The fire consisted of about 1,000 tonnes of wood. Fire crews also had to stop the blaze from spreading to a nearby larger pile of composed materials and have also remained at the scene to damp down another fire which started in the main building.
