Knife Attack: Woman Charged

A woman's been charged by police after a woman with a knife threatens staff and officers at a Northampton department store.

The 36 year old's been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon over the incident at the House of Fraser store in the Grosvenor Centre on Sunday 26 January 2014.

Police were called to reports of a woman with a knife damaging items on sale.  The store was subsequently evacuated.

The 36 year old woman charged by police was due to appear at Northampton Magistrates Court on Monday 27 January.
