Wollaston in Northamptonshire has been named as the UK's second most romantic town.

Research carried out by an online cosmetics company found people living in Wollaston near Wellingborough will spend around £180.50 on their partner this Valentine's Day.

They were only just beaten to the top-spot by Reigate in Surrey. People in Reigate are expected to spend £197.95.

Coming bottom of the list is Salisbury in Wiltshire where lovers are are expected to spend just £16.94 on their Valentine.
