The parents of an infant boy, who died at Northampton General Hospital, have been remanded in custody today, after being charged with murder yesterday.
7 week-old Jamie Kightley, of Far Cotton, Northampton, died at the town's general hospital on March 17 last year.
His exact case of death has not been released.
On March 22, 2012, two arrests were made by officers of the East Midlands special operations unit for major crime.
An inquest was held into the circumstances of the death on Saturday March 17th - initial findings suggested he died as a result of a head injury.
After appearing at Northampton Crown Court this morning - Jamie's parents were remanded into custoday by Judge Rupert Mayo, after being charged with Jamie's murder.
Adam Kightley, aged 23, and 21 year-old Jackie Parker, of London Road, Far Cotton, Northampton, were remanded in custody and were told they'll stand trial in the Autumn.
