Sexual assault in Northampton

A 24-year-old woman's been sexually assaulted in the Semilong area of Northampton.

It happened on Thursday 3rd March between 9am and 9.30am.

The victim was walking on her own down an alleyway off St Andrews Road when a man started following her and touched her inappropriately. The offender then walked back down the alleyway in the direction of St Andrews Road.

The man is described as white, about 25-years-old. of slim build and about 5ft 8ins tall. He had mousy light brown hair, which was flat and medium length. He was clean shaven with a gaunt looking face and very visible cheek bones. He was wearing a black mid-length coat which was zipped up, black baggy jeans and black trainers. He didn't have any visible tattoos or piercings.
