An 18 year old driver's been arrested after a car crashed in Northamptonshire, throwing a 17 year old back seat passenger into the road.
The crash on the A6003 between Kettering and Corby just before 1am on Tuesday 3 December 2013 has left the 17 year old seriously ill in hospital in Coventry.
Another 17 year old who was driving another car has also been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
Police say a black Ford Fiesta driven by the 18 year old from Corby was travelling from Kettering to Corby when, for reasons unknown, it left the road just before the new roundabout at Barford Bridge.
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash, or who saw a black Fiesta or a blue Citreon Saxo shortly before it.
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact the Northamptonshire Police Collision Investigation Team on 101 or the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 174615.
