Two 14 year old boys have been questioned by police investigating vandalism of a car in Northampton that led to the death of a 32 year old woman.

Joanna Smith (right) died in a crash on the A45 near Earls Barton, Northamptonshire on Tuesday 10 April 2012 while she was driving to work.

Northamptonshire Police think a tyre on her black Honda Jazz car had been deliberately damaged over the Easter weekend while it was parked at Grange Park, Northampton.

The two teenagers who were arrested are from Hardingstone and Grange Park.  They have since been released on bail.

Joanna's death is being investigated as manslaughter.  Police are appealing for people with information to come forward.

Northamptonshire Police say the arrests of the teenagers is part of a planned approach by detectives which is likely to see further arrests made in the near future.

Anyone with information about what happened is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on the non-emergency number 101.
