Northamptonshire police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery that occurred at 8.30pm last night.
Whilst security guards were accessing the Nationwide bank on Bridge Street in Rothwell, three men forced their way into the building and made off, on foot, up School Lane with a substantial amount of cash.
The offenders were wearing masks and carrying crow bars at the time of the incident and one is described as a 25 to 26 year old, 6ft 5 white man wearing black jeans and a black hooded top.
