Bridger To Ask For Compensation

Mark Bridger, the man who killed April Jones, has reportedly instructed lawyers after having his face slashed in prison.

He was given a whole life sentence earlier this year for the abduction and murder of 5 year old April, who's body has never been found.

Whilst in Wakefield prison he was attacked by another inmate who slashed his face with a razor.

It's being reported that he has now instructed lawyers to seek compensation from the Ministry of Justice. 

A Prison Service spokesperson told Heart:  "We robustly defend all compensation claims from prisoners."
