A man has admitted to causing a crash which killed a 21 year old plumber.
Robert Bryn Williams, 48, from Pontblyddin today (Friday 1st November) pleaded guilty to causing the death of Kieron Arnold by driving his Land Rover without due car and attention, at the time being over the drink drive limit.
21 year old Keiron Arnold died in June after the crash on the A541 between Pontblyddin and Caergwrle. His devastated family said at the time that he was a fantastic son and a loving big brother.
They said he was a keen bodybuilder who enjoyed all sorts of sports including football and generally keeping fit.
He was well thought of within his work as a plumber and was a hard working lad with drive and ambition, who aspired to start his own business.
They said in a statement that Kieran was a handsome young man who spent most of his time with his long-term girlfriend Lizzie.
Williams has been told to expect a long prison sentence when he is sentenced next month.
