Heart Breakfast with JK and Kelly Brook 6:30am - 10am
A family in Wirral have become the first to have a ready made extension fitted to their home for their disabled son.
Scott Smith, 4, from Moreton has Myotubular Myopathy and needs round the clock care and is unable to walk.
Up to now he has been sleeping in the dining room and having to shower at School as his equipment and wheelchair makes it impossible to get upstairs in his own house.
Now with the new extension he'll have a ready made bedroom and bathroom made especially for his equipment and wheelchair.
It's the first mobile extension, called a Modular Adaptation Pod, that Wirral Partnership Homes have made and hope it could be a future solution for families like Scott’s.
