Rose's nomination story

"My Nan`s story- My Nan is a foster carer as and has been one for over 25 years. In this time my Nan has fostered over 200 children and has made a real difference to the lives of many children. The children she has fostered over the years have had many complex needs and they have come from very diverse backgrounds to which my nan has catered to meaning that these children have had a better start in life, at one point my Nan fostered 9 children. My Nan really deserves to carry the Olympic torch and I think it would be a great opportunity for her. In my Nan`s career she has performed in 2 pantomimes, which were organised by the care system for looked after children and carers to take part in. My Nan deserves a medal for what she has done, or even better a chance to carry the Olympic flame!"
