Heart talks to the families of victims killed in car crashes in the North West

A young person in the North West is, on average, killed every eight days in the North West.

As school children at St Wilfred's Catholic High School in Bootle, Heart's Andy Downton has been talking to Mel Pope from the Wirral.  Her husband James was killed in 2009 when a van being driven by a 19 year old hit him head-on, the driver had fell into a diabetic coma.

Andy also talks to the family of Tristan Cook, 16, from Chester who was killed in a car crash in 2009.
