School leads Six Nations clash

As Wales prepare to battle in out for the Grand Slam title as they take on France a school choir from Llangollen will be warming up their vocal chords to perform on the pitch.

The boys choir from Dinas Bran have been selected to sing both national anthems before kick off, as well as a host of other tunes.

Sixth former Adam Bell's told Heart they've been rehearsing none stop, with plenty of lunch time and after school practice sessions.

Head of Music Aled Philips revealed to Heart news the school were the only entrants in a national competition and so they asked if they could still step up to the challenge and sing on the pitch.

He's told us it'll be a long day but a great honour for the boys, although he doesn't think the scale of the performance will sink in until they get to the Welsh capital.
