Shotguns found at Merseyside Train Station

Six double-barrelled shotguns along with 150 cartridges have been found by a member of the public at Roby Train Station

They made the find at 3pm on Friday 31st January.

The weapons have been removed for forensic examination, detectives from the Matrix Serious Organised Crime Unit are working with the British Transport Police to find out who the firearms belong to, and how they came to be left there.

Officers have told Heart that they believe they have been there for some time.
