Suspect Package At Passport Office

There are claims a member of staff needed medical treatment after opening an envelope thought to have contained white powder.
The Emergency Services were called to Old Hall Street at just after 5pm on Monday evening. Merseyside Police said they were responding to reports of a delivery of a suspicious package.
The area was closed off while investigations were carried out.
They are now trying to identify what any substance could be, officers are also looking into where the package came from.
