Tribute to Caernarfon Plane Victim

Lorry driver Iain Nutall was killed on Sunday 19th May when the plane came down close to Caernarfon Airport.

Iain had been married to his wife Michelle for 14 years and they have one son together. Michelle says they will always love him, and he will never be forgotten. “Iain was a wonderful and devoted father, who loved his son to pieces.”

Iain was also a son to Jean, a step son to Trevor, brother to Claire, and an uncle to Alex.  The family are struggling to believe this has happened.  To them Iain was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be sadly missed by all.

He joined the Kings Own Royal Border Regiment at the age of 17 and served with them for about eight years.  He left the regiment not long after the couple got married.

At the time of his death 37-year-old Iain, from the Blackburn area, was working as a lorry driver, and prior to that he worked within the security industry. “He had a passion for motorcycles, and enjoyed spending time out riding with friends and attending motorcycling events.”

A five year old boy and a 61 year old man were also seriously hurt in the crash.
