The Bishop of Oxford's been one of seven people crowded into a Portaloo, to draw attention to a lack of clean water and sanitation in the developing world.

The Rt Rev John Pritchard went into the public convenience in Oxford's Bonn Square on Wednesday 14 April 2010 along with six other members of the local clergy, at an event organised by the charity Christian Aid.

He said: "I am delighted to be taking part in a pre-Christian Aid week call to action once again.  It is shocking that in a world where so many of us have so much, there are still millions of people living in appalling slum conditions without access to clean water and sanitation."
