A 19-year-old has told police she was subjected to a serious sexual assault during a night out in the Thames Valley.

The 19 year old says she met a black man in his twenties in Anuba on park Street End on Friday night and went with him to the Bridge nightclub in Oxford.

She told police the offender is around 5ft 8ins, with short dark hair and was wearing a light coloured long sleeved hooded top, jeans and trainers.

Detective Inspector Simon Morton, leading the investigation, said:

“We believe the incident took place inside a car after they had left the club.

“Were you out in this area of town on Friday evening? Did you see a man matching this description with a girl that night; she is white, 5ft 8ins, medium build, with shoulder length blond hair. She was wearing a distinctive pink sleeveless top with ruffles on the front, black leggings and black boots.

“We know she was feeling unwell as she recalls opening the car door and being sick, this was in a very brightly lit area. Do you remember seeing this between 3am and 5am, or did you have to clean this up or maybe you gave them a lift?

“I urge anyone with any information that could assist the investigation to please get in touch.”
