Saturday 26th June-Saturday 10th July - Peterborough Festival

Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th July - Stamford Riverside Festival at Stamford Meadows

After the amazing success of previous years, this year's free event will be running over two days. The weekend will be full of live music and entertainment with three music stages, a beer and cider festival, fun fair, and children's entertainment zone. Sunday 11th July - Summer Fair at St.Augustine's School, Kesteven Rd, Stamford

All the traditional school fayre stalls, along with trade stalls, car boot sale, ice cream van, refreshments, raffle and children's rides. Please come along for a real family afternoon!

Friday 16th & Saturday 17th July 10am-5pm - Weeting Steam Engine Rally & County Show

Fun for all the family including trade & craft stalls, working demontrations, vintage vehicles, miniture steam railway, dog agility, children's entertainment, fairground rides,main ring events plus restaurant & bars

Saturday 17th July 10am - Gorefield Pre School Grand Opening

It is the grand opening of the purpose built pre school and outside play area. The staff will be present to answer any questions and help you to enroll. Join them for refreshments face painting and bouncy castle.  Ribbon to be cut at 10.45.

Sunday 18th July - Heart Presents JLS

Sunday 18th July - Lincs, Essex and Trent Boxer Rescue Funday in Holbeach

The Funday is the main fundraiser for the Boxer Dog Rescue. The organisation rescues and re-homes boxer dogs from all over the country. There is usually a good turn out of 450+ people bringing along all breeds of dogs. There is a Fun Dog Show where all breeds can enter to find out who has the waggiest tail, who has the best smile etc. There are various other stalls surronding the dog show, a live compere for the day with music to get everyone on their feet! The Pooch Mobile is on hand all day to clean up your pooches along with lots of entertainment for the kiddies. It's a really fun day out for all the family and helps raise funds for a good cause. Sunday 18th July 1pm-6pm - Open Garden with Art & Flowers at South Luffenham, Rutland

“Come into the Garden” is the theme chosen for the Open Garden event in South Luffenham, Rutland,  this year. Entry is £4 per person (children free), tickets available from the church. Visit some of the village’s delightful gardens, play croquet and indulge in a delicious cream tea in the Village Hall (from 2.00pm).  There you will also find homemade cakes and preserves for sale, plants and more.  There will also be a Grand Summer Draw – win a holiday for two in the Algarve (flights included).  Don’t miss the chance to see stunning floral arrangements on the theme “Come into the Garden” in the beautiful setting of our lovely church, together with a display of work by local artists.

Sunday 18th July 11am-4pm - Craft Fair at Laxton, near Corby

Laxton village is holding a Craft Fair  with a large variety of craft stalls, activities for the children, delicious home made refreshments.

Sunday 18th July 12pm gates - An afternoon of 60's music at Croft Grange, Newton

Featuring the Dreamers supported by the Cufflinks. They are raising money for Meadowgate School for mentally and physically handicapped children and also Newton Village Church. Tickets are £10 in advance or £12.50 on the gate and can be obtained from David Smith on 01945 870909 or e mail croftgrange@btconnect.com. Everyone needs to bring a table, chairs and food and drink and join the party. Gate opens at 12pm and music starts at 2pm.

Tuesday 20th-Saturday 24th July 7.30pm - Wisbech Amateur Operatic Society present Jesus Chris Superstar

The world renowned musical written by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber will be performed nightly at the Church of St.Per and St.Paul in Wisbech. Doors open at 7pm and the performance will begin at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 and £9 concessions. To book tickets call 01945 582758 or 01945 870393.

Thursday 22nd July-Sunday 25th July - Flower Festival at St.Mary Magdalene Church, Gedney

From 10am each day there will be refreshments, produce, plant and bric-a-brac stalls, tombola and plenty more. Coaches are welcome and there will be parking available. On the Sunday there will be Songs of Praise at 6.30pm. For more details contact Davina Wilson on 01406 363 442

Saturday 24th July - Car Boot Sale at Yaxley Royal British Legion

Sunday 25th July 10am-4pm - Stamford Artisans Guild Craft Fair at Stamford Arts Centre

Stamford Artisans Guild is a non profit making organisation that is holding a craft fair to promote local artisans and this is a fair for hand made crafts.

Thursday 29th July - Meet the Lush Compounders at the Lush Store, Queensgate Shopping Centre Peterborough

Come and meet the people who make the lovely Lush products! They will be doing demonstrations all morning in store so why not pop along and see how the magic is made.

Saturday 31st July 7pm - Charity Night in aid of Sue Ryder at Thorpe Hall, Walton

There will be live music from Mighty Quinn. Tickets are £3 on the door which includes a Hog Roast Roll. Theres also a mega raffle prize up for grabs-  1 week in a villa in Marbella plus £100 towards the flight. Raffle tickets are available at the bar for £1.

Saturday 31st July 12-5pm - Charity Fun Day at Lime Tree, Paston Lane

Fun day at the Lime Tree in aid of Sue Ryder. There's going to be a Car Boot Sale, BBQ, Bouncy Castle, Fun Assault Course, Face Painting, Merry-Go-Round, Fun Boxing, Karate Display, and Cake Stall!
