Werrington: Armed Robbery At Building Society

Detectives have released CCTV images of an armed robbery at a building society in Peterborough.
A man wearing a balaclava ran into the Norwich and Peterborough Building Society in Werrington, at just before 5pm on Wednesday, February 5.
He was wearing a grey hooded top, blue jeans, one black glove and one yellow. He ran into the store carrying a knife and a shopping bag before demanding money.
A staff member saw the incident on CCTV and triggered the security screens. The man ran off empty-handed.
No-one was injured but staff were left shaken.
Detective Constable Audrey Campbell said: "There were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident and I would urge anyone who witnessed the robbery to get in touch.
"I'm also keen to hear from anyone who recognises the man."
