Body Of Cyclist Found Near Spalding

A 55 year old man has been found dead in a roadside ditch near Spalding.
The body was found, along with a bicycle, in the ditch close to the Golf Club on West Drove North in Gedney Hill at around 9:30pm last night.
Lincolnshire Police say the ditch had around 18 inches of water in the bottom.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the man is believed to have been dead "for some time".
Officers are currently treating the death as unexplained.
They are now trying to piece together the movements of the man, who has not yet been formally identified, before his death.
The last reported sighting of the man is reported to have been by a neighbour at around 10am yesterday.
Anyone who saw a cyclist near the golf club after 10:00am yesterday or who has any information is asked to call Lincolnshire Police via the non-emergency 101 number and to quote incident number 489 of 9th June.
