Peterborough: Man Charged With Norfolk Murder

Officers investigating the murder of a 38 year old man in Yarmouth have charged a man from Peterborough with murder.
39 year old Kestutis Sliogeris of Cromwell Road in Peterborough was charged with murder after being arrested on Tuesday.
He will appear before Norwich magistrates this morning.
The victim, identified as Paulius Jakovlevas [pictured], had been living in the Great Yarmouth area since August.
His body was found on Monday morning.
Post mortem examinations show that Mr Jakovlevas is believed to have died from severe head injuries.
A 40 year old woman from the Peterborough area who was arrested yesterday in connection with the incident will be questioned by Norfolk officers in due course.

Officers investigating the murder of a 38 year old man in Yarmouth have today arrested a 38 year old man on suspicion of murder.
The 38 year old was arrested in the Great Yarmouth area and is currently in Wymondham Police Investigation Centre awaiting questioning.

He appeared before Norwich magistrates this morning.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in court again on Monday.
