Peterborough: CCTV After Salon Attack

Cambridgeshire Police have released CCTV images of two men after what's believed to be petrol bombs were thrown into an occupied beauty salon in Peterborough.

The arson attack happened at the Studio Number 1 salon, which is at the junction of Windmill Street and Lincoln Road at around 2pm on Friday (16 November).

Police say two men threw what are believed to be petrol bombs up a flight of stairs into the salon before running off.

There were around 11 customers and staff in the salon at the time.

They managed to put the flames out using a fire extinguisher and blankets.

Two women were left with minor injuries but nobody was badly hurt.

Detectives are treating the incident as arson with intent to endanger life and are keen to speak to the men seen on the CCTV images pictured.

Detective Sergeant Lisa Alexander said: "I am keen to speak to the men in these CCTV images as they could have important information for this inquiry.

We are continuing to treat this incident extremely seriously and I am keen to bring those responsible to justice.

Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could be key to this investigation."
