Marco Cereste has kept his job as leader of Peterborough City Council following a leadership challenge.
Cllr Cereste had been challenged for the leadership of the city's Conservative Party by group deputy leader Matthew Lee.
But at an AGM meeting at the town hall last night (Tuesday 7th May) party members voted to keep Marco Cereste as leader.
The result was 24 votes to 8 in favour of Cllr Cereste.
