Peterborough: Shot Men Remain In Hospital

Three men shot with a shotgun at a travellers site in Peterborough remain in hospital.

The men, aged 41, 43 and 46 were shot during an incident on the Oxney Road site at around 10am yesterday (Monday).

Scenes of crime officers have since spent several hours gathering evidence from the site.

According to Police, the shooting is being treated as an isolated incident.

Officers are still trying to identify those responsible.

Detective Inspector Dave Grierson said: "I would appeal to anyone who saw what happened, or witnessed people heading towards or away from the site at the time of the shooting, to call police."
