Ramsey: Fatal Crash

A 19 year old woman has died, and a man has been arrested, following a crash in Ramsey.

Emergency services were called at around 4am today (Saturday 6 July) to a van upside down in the River Nene off St Mary's Road in Ramsey.

A woman was pulled from the van and taken to Peterborough City Hospital where she died.

She's been named as 19 year old Natalie Scotchford from Ramsey, her family have been informed.

A man, arrested at the scene, has been questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, and released on bail.
