The Environment Agency has issued two new high-level flood warnings for Cambridgeshire.

Following the heavy rain at the start of the weekend, river levels are currently very high along the River Nene in Cambridgeshire.

The mid-level flood warning from the Environment Agency covers the North Bank Road area alongside the Nene, east of Peterborough, to west of the Dog-in-a-Doublet sluice.

A second mid-level flood warning is in place between just south of the River Nene to the stretch along the Thorney to Whittlesey Road.

The mid-level warning means "Flooding is expected. Immediate action required."
