Spalding: Racially Motivated Assault

Police have described an assault on two men in Spalding as 'racially motivated'.

The men have been taken to hospital with head injuries after being attacked by two men in Ayscoughfee Gardens just before 1pm today (Monday).

The victims are in their 20s. 

Community Policing Inspector Jim Tyner said: "Because of comments that were made at the time, we are treating this as an unprovoked racially motivated assault."

Lincolnshire Police describe the offenders as two English-speaking males in their late teens.

According to the force, one male was wearing a grey hoodie, grey tracksuit trousers and trainers. 

The second male was wearing a blue T shirt.
