Wisbech: Man Arrested After Una Crown Murder

A 58 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of an 86 year old woman in Wisbech.

The body of Una Crown [pictured - right] was discovered in her bungalow in Magazine Lane at 10:45am on Sunday 13 January.

Mrs Crown had been stabbed to death and set on fire.

She was last seen alive on Friday, January 11, but had spoken to a friend by telephone on the Saturday.

A 58 year old man was arrested in Wisbech this morning (Thursday) on suspicion of murder. 

He is currently in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station in Peterborough.
