Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Lucy Horobin 6:30am - 10am
Wear Red to School and help us put a smile on sick children's faces within the local community.
This year Have a Heart is working with Starlight Children’s Foundation to raise money to change the lives of children in hospitals and hospices in your community.
The money that you raise for Have a Heart will buy at least 30 Have a Heart Starlight Fun Centres that will provide hours of distraction from painful medical treatments and the boredom of long hospital stays.
It is a proven fact that play helps in recuperation, and recovery is definitely improved. Everyone laughing and smiling - it really contributes to the children getting better.
Schools have a Heart
Challenge the Angels.
Every child gives a donation to wear red for the day and on that day the school will have a visit from the Heart Angels.
Your school will have the Heart Angels for 2 hours and in that time they can use them for anything; that could be taking story time, serving up lunch, washing dishes, clean the hall, take part in PE or even take your lesson!
We’ll get pictures for the website, give the school a mention on the radio and one school will be picked at random to win a trip for one class to Tenpin in Exeter for a game of bowling with the Heart Angels.
We would love you to join us; contact us via the form below.
