More Than £300 Stolen From Plymouth Shops

Despite being chased down a Plymouth street by a member of staff and a customer a shoplifter believed to be responsible for 6 separate thefts from Co-op stores has evaded capture. 

Now Plymouth police have given Heart CCTV images of a suspect they want to identify 

Below is a list of the stores and dates when it's claimed the offences happened: 

  • 6:00pm on Saturday 23rd February Moorshead Road, Crownhill. 
  • 4.30pm on Saturday 9th February Moorshead Road, Crownhill 
  • 2:20pm on Thursday 21st February Peverell Park Road in the City. 
  • 8.00pm on Thursday 21st February Peverell Park Road in the City. 
  • 3.20pm on Monday 18th February, Devonport Road, Stoke 
  • 12:40pm on Sunday 17th February Embankment Road, Plymouth. 

The total value of goods stolen is between £300 and £400. The suspect is described as being a white man aged in his late twenties or early thirties, around 6 foot in height, medium build, black hair and carrying a black rucksack.
