Plymouth's Biggest Recruitment Drive
The waiting list for children that need Fostering in Plymouth has grown by 15 percent in the last year.
There are now 4 hundred children on the city's books.
A new DVD has been released for residents to consider taking up fostering as a career. Between now and the end of March Plymouth City Council's biggest ever campaign to recruit foster carers begins.
Permancy & Placements service manager Anne Osbourne said: "You can foster if you are single or in a relationship. If you have a partner or children then it's important that the whole family is committed to the idea."
