Police in search for Plympton meat thief

After a spate of meat thefts in the South Hams, Police have released CCTV images of a woman who stole 14 sirloin steaks from a Co-Op in Glen Road in Plympton on 17 January.

After wandering around, she selected 14 sirloin steaks from a fridge cabinet and concealed them under the buggy hood before leaving the store. 

Police are asking anyone who recognises the woman to contact them. 

The suspect is described as early 30s, around 5ft 5ins tall and of medium build. She had brown hair with red streaks and was wearing a black coat, a cream cardigan and blue jeans. 

The offence happpened at around 2.30pm and anybody with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting crime reference EP/13/55.
