Who was your first celebrity crush? 

Demi Moore. Fancied her before Ghost. So there.

Who’s your most recent celebrity crush? 

Liz Hurley. My wife Tracy knows! We have this 'understanding' that if the occasion ever arose, she'd let me off. But only if she gets her own back with Jason Orange. We can dream can't we..?

What song gets you on the dance floor? 

Me? Dancing? You're having a laugh. 

What song reminds you of the most treasured moments in your life? 

Neneh Cherry Manchild. It played FOUR times during my wife Tracy's labour with our first child. This convinced us that we were about to have a boy. Wrong! Our daughter Haydn arrived some ten hours later. No complaints.

What makes you feel good more than anything else? 

A hot water bottle on a freezing winters night. I have a blue one with a knitted cover. It's soooo cozy. I hold it between my feet. 

What’s your most proud radio moment in your career? 

Winning a Gold Medal at The New York Radio Awards for Best Breakfast Presenter In The World. When it was announced, I thought the organisers were at it. I travelled to the Big Apple and received my award at a glitzy ceremony in mid-town Manhattan.

And the most embarrassing? 

My daughter Haydn appearing on air and answering listeners' questions about me. No holds barred - home truths told - face Crimson with awkwardness. Thanks Haydn! 

Has anybody told you you look like a celebrity? Who? 

Tom Cruise. Apparently. It must be something to do with my height.

Favourite food? 

Curry. Curried anything. I can honestly say, I'd eat curry seven nights a week. Not exactly conducive to good studio etiquette. 

Favourite film? 

The Departed. I've watched it more than fifty times.

Favourite place? 

Dubai. It's like a Middle-East Vegas. But on steroids.

What is your most treasure possession? 

Family photo album.

Who would play you in a film of your life? 

Matt Damon. That would be an honour. Not quite sure if Matt would accept. The script could be fairly juicy in parts though. 

What is your guiltiest pleasure? 

Honey. I'm a jar a week kinda guy. Eat your heart out Winnie The Pooh.

Tell us about your ideal weekend. 

Friday - Dinner and a movie. Saturday - Take Away and Sky + on Catch up.

What was your first ever tweet?

I said I'd never Tweet but here I am. I've officially entered the Twittersphere! (May 2008)

What was your first ever Facebook status update?

I was en route to Old Trafford with my son Jules. I posted a pic of me wearing a retro Man U top with the caption. "Come on UNITED!!" Beat City 4-3 Been on Facebook ever since.
