JK & Lucy's edible Heart Elves

Why not have a go at making them yourself! Our Edible Heart Elves can be made in 8 easy steps, just follow Lucy's pictures and method and enjoy!

    1. Edible Elves

      1. Edible Elves ingredients and Step 1:

You will need: A punnet of Raspberries, Flaked Almonds, Cupcake icing (Dr Oetker's comes with icing nozzles & does a perfect job), Edible decorative Gold/Silver balls, Caramel Waffles, Edible Gold Spray (again, Dr Oetker's is brilliant) Step 1: Wash & pat dry the Raspberries

    2. Edible Elves

      2. Edible Elves Step 2:

Spray the edible Gold evenly over the Caramel Waffles - then using a sharp knife, cut into small triangles that'll fit over the top of your Raspberries.

    3. Edible Elves

      3. Edible Elves Step 3:

Using the smallest nozzle, fill each Raspberry with icing, so it just reaches over the top.

    4. Edible Elves

      4. Edible Elves Step 4:

Gently push 2 flaked Almonds either side of each Raspberry, pointing them upwards. These are the ears!

    5. Edible Elves

      5. Edible Elves Step 5:

Carefully pipe 2 small dabs of icing on each Raspberry (these form the base for the Elves eyes!)

    6. Edible Elves

      6. Edible Elves Step 6:

Place an edible Gold ball over each dab of icing on the front of the Raspberries.

    7. Edible Elves

      7. Edible Elves Step 7:

Pop a Caramel Waffle triangle on top of each Elf, it should stick nicely to the icing peeking out.

    8. Edible Elves

      8. Edible Elves Step 8:

Arrange the Elves however you like, on a plate, or using loads of icing sugar as snow, create a winter scene. You could use extra decorations such as silver edible balls as Snowballs, or a Merry Christmas cake sign, dot the Elves around, then EAT! :)
