Weston: Second Person Charged With Murder

A second person has been charged with the murder of a man in Weston-super-Mare.

On Sunday October 13, Mark Roberts died in hospital after being assaulted in Weston-super-Mare the previous day. 

A 17-year-old was charged with his murder in the following days and three other people were released on bail pending further enquiries. 

A 15-year-old girl answered bail on Tuesday and was subsequently charged with murder. She was remanded in custody to appear before North Somerset Magistrates' Court this morning. 

The two other people arrested have been released from their bail and no further action will be taken against them.
