Three Charged With Masked Gang Robbery

Police have charged three people after a man was robbed in a Chichester street by a masked gang.

Two men and a woman are due in court on Tuesday 16 July, following the robbery on the morning of the day before.
 
Anthony Hebb, 28, of Marion Street, Oldham, Greater Manchester; James Jones, 24, of Littlebank Street, Oldham; and Stacey West, 26, of Coalshaw Green Road, Chadderton, Oldham, are all due to appear in custody at Crawley Magistrates Court, charged with robbing the man of £2,000 cash in Palmers Field Avenue, Chichester.
 
West is also charged with dangerous driving, and driving with no insurance and no driving licence.
 
Some of the stolen money and the victim's laptop were found in a car which was abandoned after the police pursuit from Chichester which ended in Patching.

The victim suffered a cut hand but was otherwise unhurt.
 
Officers are continuing to search for a third man, believed to have been involved in the robbery.
