Biker Who Died In Crash Named

Police have named the man who died following a collision in Aldershot as Glyn Hole.

The 37-year-old from Aldershot, was riding a black Yamaha motorbike along Thornhill Road shortly after 4.30pm on Tuesday, September 21, when he collided with the rear of a white Iveco van.

Mr Hole was thrown from his motorbike and before being struck by a black Suzuki motorbike travelling in the opposite direction.

He sustained serious injuries and died at the scene.

The rider of the Suzuki, a 51-year-old man from Aldershot, and the driver of the van, a 29-year-old man, also from Aldershot, were not injured.

Officers from the Roads Policing Unit at Whitchurch are keen to speak to anyone who saw any of the vehicles before the collision or the collision itself.
