The body of a mans has been found trapped in mud flats in a Hampshire Harbour.
Police were called at 6.33pm on Sunday (August 28) by the ambulance service, after the body of a man was found on mudflats at Wicor Marine, Cranleigh Road.
His body was retrieved by staff from HM Coastguard and he was confirmed dead at the scene. He's been taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, and post mortem examination will take place soon.
The identity of the dead man is still being confirmed, but he is believed to be a local man in his early 40s and officers say it's thought he was working on restoring a boat at the yard.
His death isn't being treated as suspicious.
