Rickie Lambert says scoring for his country in his England debut was beyond his wildest dreams.
The Southampton striker is celebrating after scoring against Scotland in the friendly on Wednesday night.
The winning goal came within a few minutes of the 31-year-old coming on as a substitute.
It finished 3-2 to England.
England team-mate Steven Gerrard has described Lambert - who used to screw lids on beetroot jars - as an inspiration for aspiring footballers.
Last week he was also celebrating the birth of his daughter.
