Two record attempts are taking part at Fratton Park in Portsmouth today (Saturday), one led by 80s star Chesney Hawkes.
Thousands of people are being invited to take part in the record attempts, the first starting at 11 a.m. where two and half thousand are needed to break an attempt for the most people playing air guitar.
Chesney Hawkes, famous for the hit song 'One and Only', will lead the air guitar attempt to raise money for the New Theatre Royal. The venue needs to find £350,000 for work to be completed on its interior. Money raised will be split between Sport Relief, the theatre and the football club.
The theatre is also looking to break another record and from 1 p.m. 64 comedians will also try to do the world's longest stand-up gig, aiming to last for more than 80 hours.
A couple of years ago, torrential rain forced an attempt to break the air guitar record to change venue meaning not enough people could take part.
