Family Tribute To Dad Hit By Car Near Totton

The family of a man who died after being hit by a car near Totton say he was very well known and great friend to many.
Patrick Duffy, 61, from Southampton Road, Bartley was killed after he was struck by a Ford Focus while crossing the A336 Ringwood Road at around 10.30pm on Easter Sunday, April 20.
It happened at Netley Marsh near Carlton House.
His daughter has issued a statement in tribute on behalf of all the family:
"Words cannot describe how devastated we all are. Dad was a loving husband, father, brother and son.
"He was very well known and great friend to many.
"He was a gentle giant with a big heart. We will miss him so much and he will be in our hearts forever."
