Family's Tribute To 4x4 Driver

Police have named a man who died when his 4x4 collided with an HGV at the junction of the A303 and A30 at Bullington Cross.

40-year-old Alexander Ridge from Union Street in Farnborough died at the scene of the collision on Thursday September 5th.

It involved the Dodge Nitro he was driving and a DAF HGV being driven by a 42-year-old man from the West Midlands.
 
His family has today released the following statement in tribute.

“Alex was a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather brother and uncle. He had an amazing ability to see the best in everyone and always tried to help anyone in need.

“He will be desperately missed by his whole family and all his many friends.”
