Human Remains Are Missing Woman
Police investigating the discovery of human remains in north Hampshire woodland nearly two months ago have finally identified them.
They say the body was Jacqueline Windsor, a 24-year-old woman who went missing in Basingstoke seven years ago.
The remains were found on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, in an area of woodland off Basing Road.
Jacqueline's death isn't being treated as suspicious and an inquest into her death is due to be open on April 5.
Police say her family 'has been kept informed throughout this investigation and specially trained officers have been supporting them.'
