IOW Festival: No Repeat Of Mud Chaos Promise
Isle of Wight Festival organisers say they've spent a quarter of a million pounds ensuring there's no repeat of last year's muddy chaos.
Seaclose Park in Newport was hit by a huge storm as music fans arrived at the event.
Cars got stuck in the car parks, others spent the night queuing in their vehicles and some were even stranded on ferries in the Solent overnight.
The car parks have been doubled in size, there are more entrances and exits, and ferry traffic has been segregated.
The Stone Roses, the Killers and Bon Jovi headline the festival next month.
